Shameless plugging of my best friend's immensely smart child!
Start 'em young, I say. Or is it, "train up a child..."? :-)

A running account of a Jamaican-American's move to Cork, Ireland in a desperate bid to inject some fun and adventure into her life. Bring on the craic!

Hi, you Jamaican-American! Don't you miss good old JA? I used to live there in the 80th, and I worked for the JA. government for 20 years. I was very happy to move here some 12 years ago, but I still have the blues for my island,Kingston to be precise. And I miss the breadfruit that you pictured LOOOOOts, thankfully we can get sweet potatoes here now, and if we are really crafty, plantains. Such advances :) let me know if you want to be in contact.
As I listened to that brilliant child desperately hoping for change for this country... one bible verse comes to mind ".. a little child shall lead them..."
Start 'em young sounds right. :)
Hey Rosi, wow Ireland must have changed quite a bit since you came here. Plantains... I don't know what I would do without them! :-) Drop me a line sometime if you'd like to be in touch.
