Even the smart ones have their spazzy moments

It all stems from . . . a Japanese MapleImage by Creativity+ Timothy K Hamilton via Flickr

Yesterday over lunch (paraphrased):
Coworker #1: I'm really unhappy because my Japanese Maple tree at home is dying.

Coworker #2: What's wrong with it?

Coworker #1: All the leaves are shriveling and dropping off.

Coworker #2: I think that's called Autumn.

Coworker #1: Oh... yeah!

hahahahahahaaha! LMAO! This is not an ACTUAL conversation, right? :D

Wait? Is this coworker Irish-Jamaican? Cuz a decade ago, I could've made the same flub.
(still laffing!)

Oh! Do Irish people say "autumn" most of the time or do they use "fall" as often?
