For those of you family and friends who are interested, you’ll be excited to hear that I actually got hit on, in a nice way, at the concert. And he asked for my number! How random is that? That sort of thing never happens to me. It turns out to be someone I know casually anyway, but it totally came out of the blue. Cool guys never hit on me in the States. I’m just loving Ireland more and more all the time! :-)

So, did you give him your number?
I'm not completely crazy, of course I gave it to him!
love your blog... I can sense the feeling of separation from all you are accustomed to... but that is how all FOREIGNERS feel... there is no instant remedy.. just TIME... soon you will be able to look at the differences and find yourself saying Hmmmmm!... In all my years of travelling beginning at 12 years when I was uprooted without notice and dropped into the midst of an INSTANT FAMILY.. I think I mourned first.. then I longed next.. then I accepted and fell in line... now everything seems routine.. but you never forget the pain of the separation... Happy travelling... love... mommy
My wise mom!
Well, at least one of the cool guys you knew in the states was married and behaved himself around you ... ;-)
Sadly, I still haven't figured out which one of my cool, and well-behaved, married guy friends this is. Huh? You know I'm not always on the ball :-) Should it be obvious? Reveal yourself oh anonymous one! I know you must have my email address.
